If we want to know where Jesus is, he said, "I am in your praising of me."  

When I have heard some prayers of praise I felt they had fallen a bit short. I prayed to find a good "Praise Prayer". What is typed below is as close as I could get to a praise prayer of a layman who was asked to say a few words following a catholic priest's very first sermon. The backbone of it was as I heard it, but I have added to it, to fill out some blanks. -- David Curry 

He is King of Angels ----- He is King of The Universe, and of all Creation -----He is my King ----- He is King of Israel ----King of the Jews -----He is King of Righteousness ----- He is King of the Ages -----He is King of Heaven-----He is King of Glory ----- He is King of Kings ----- He is Lord of Lords------THAT'S MY KING.

WELL, I WONDER IF YOU KNOW HIM?

David said the Heavens declare the Glory of God. My King is a Father of Kings. A Sovereign King.

No means of measure can define his limitless Love. No far-seeing telescope can bring Him into visibility.

No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessings and His supplies.

He is enduringly strong, He is entirely sincere, He is eternally steadfast, He is immortally graceful, He is imperially powerful, He is impartially merciful

DO YOU KNOW HIM?           DO YOU KNOW WHO I MEAN?

He is the greatest phenomenon that has ever crossed the horizon of the world, He is God the Son, He is the sinner's Saviour, He is the Centre Piece of civilization, He stands in the solitude of Himself, He is August and He is Unique. He is unparalleled. He is unprecedented. He is the loftiest idea in literature. He is the highest personality in philosophy. He is the supreme problem in criticism. He is the fundamental doctrine of true theology. He is the corner-stone necessity of spiritual religion. He is the miracle of the ages. He is the strength of the weak. He is the superlative of everything good. He is everything wonderful that you choose to call Him. He is the only one to be an all sufficient Saviour. He is your Redeemer. He is your Sanctifier. He is your Healer. He is your Deliverer. He is your Messiah.

I WONDER IF YOU KNOW HIM TODAY?

He supplies Grace to the weak. He is available for the tempted and the tried. He sympathizes and He saves. He heals the sick, He cleanses the lepers. He forgives sinners. He discharges debtors. He delivers the captives. He defends the feeble. He blesses the young. He serves the unfortunate. He regards the aged. He rewards the diligent. He beautifies the meek.

I WONDER IF YOU KNOW HIM?

My King is the Key to Knowledge. He is the Wellspring of Wisdom. He is the Doorway of Deliverance. He is the Pathway of Peace. He is the Roadway of Righteousness. He is the Highway of Holiness. He is the Gateway of Glory.

DO YOU KNOW WHO I MEAN?

Well, His Office is Manifold. His Promise is Sure. His Life is Matchless. His Goodness is Limitless. His Mercy is Everlasting, His Love never Changes, His Word is Enough, His Grace is Sufficient, His reign is Righteous, His Yoke is easy, His Burden is Light.

I WISH I COULD DESCRIBE HIM TO YOU.

He is indescribable. He is incomprehensible. He is Invincible.  He is Irresistible.

You can' get Him out of your mind. You can't get Him out of your head. You can't outlive Him and you can't live without Him.

The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him. Pilot couldn't find any fault with Him. The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree. Herod couldn't kill Him. Death couldn't handle Him, and the Grave couldn't keep Him.        THAT IS MY GOD

For Thine is the KINGDOM, the POWER, and the GLORY, for EVER, and EVER, and EVER, and EVER, and EVER,  AMEN.

DO YOU KNOW WHO I MEAN?       DO YOU REALLY KNOW HIM?       DO YOU WANT HIM IN YOUR LIFE?

Do you want Him in all your ambitions, hopes and plans? Do you want Him in your spiritual senses, your seeing, your hearing, your speaking, your thinking? Everything?

SURRENDER TO HIM,    NOW.   HE IS WAITING,     NOW.

HE IS YOUR KING. YOUR LORD, YOUR EVERYTHING.      HIS NAME IS:-
